About Us

We are a group of volunteers based in the UK promoting partnerships with the Bujumbura Christian University (BCU) and fundraising initiatives to support students in Burundi. We are passionate about investing in Christian education in Burundi.

'Bujumbura Christian University supports the spiritual and social harmony and development of Burundi by training and equipping its future leaders, pastors and administrators by Christ-centred teaching.' (www.bcu.edu.bi). BCU opened in 2015 with a faculty in Theology, celebrating their first cohort of Theology Graduates in 2019. BCU has since opened a new faculty, 'Faculty of Letters, Administration and Communication'.

It is our prayer that through your partnership with Love Burundi you will feel blessed as you support these students at BCU, as we do. The truth is we gain far more than what we have ever given whether through prayer, practical or financial support, we get to be part of what God is doing in their lives and receive great news and testimonies, and witness how students at BCU are blessing their communities as they themselves are blessed.
