Well done!!
Swimathon at 86 years old! Elizabeth attended an evening talk by Neil & Steve about their then recent trip to Burundi. She went home wondering how she could make a difference.
This is Elizabeth's story:
‘I thought hard, “What can I do?” I’m an old lady of 86 years…. that evening, still trying to think of something I could do, I went to bed. At 5 in the morning, I was wide awake and it was clear, the LORD had decided for me. He said “Elizabeth you can do a sponsored swim!!” Then I knew I could do this. The most lengths of the pool I had done was 20. I did 40 lengths nonstop. I was so pleased to hand over £750. Thanks be to God.’
